The yachts have pulled up, celebrities have started arriving, and with the hot fashion, positive reviews, and an overjoyed audience at the Up premiere (including Asia Argento, Giovanni Ribisi, Robin Wright Penn and Tilda Swinton), the 62nd Cannes Film Festival is off to a great start.

“It’s a terrific family adventure,” The Guardian said. The loud cheers from the typically critical and vocal Cannes audience also echoed the positive response to the animated Pixar film. This Style War pits a Hollywood sex symbol against a Bollywood beauty. Both Elizabeth Banks (Spider Man, The 40-Year-Old Virgin) and Aishwarya Rai (dozens of credits, not to mention a Miss World title) wore formal gowns to the Up premiere that showed a lot of skin at the top and none below the hips. (Blame it on the trains!) Hollywood definitely scores a point with that sexy red-hot color.
