While Jennifer might be ready to leave the dream crushing to someone else, the people behind A.I. seem determined to keep her on the show. “We want her back. I want her back,” American Idol‘s executive producer Nigel Lythgoe told TMZ today. “I know how much she loves doing the show and how much she cares for the kids. It’s a business. She has to weigh everything. I know she’s gotten lots of offers to do movies and other things.” We wonder how much A.I. would be willing to fork over to have Jennifer stay. On the other hand, space exploration could really use that $50 million, JLo. We’re not trying to sway you either way, we’re just saying…give it some thought. It’s something to consider.

In case you were ever wondering if celebrities are constantly weeping and/or secretly falling in love with you based on the comments you leave online, the answer is an enthusiastic yes. Provided that celebrity is Kristen Stewart, that is. In her HelloGiggles interview today, the Snow White and The Huntsman actress admitted to reading “comments and reviews” about her films and actual life. “Yeah, totally,” Kristen says. “I don’t take it to heart because I remember experiences in my head a certain way and I value them so much, and I would never do them differently.” Sure! Plus you want to hear everyone gush over how gorgeous you look on every red carpet. Don’t try to deny it; we would do the same thing, woman!

KStew’s admission is kind of interesting, considering how private she tends to be about things like, you know, her lovers. Says Kristen about her penchant for reading other people’s opinions of her, “Massive response is always weird. Usually things don’t matter, usually when you talk to people during interviews, things fill up in my head and I get nervous. But I am the type of person who needs to know exactly what is going on in their life ‘cos I’m a weirdo… and I need to know everything.” What? You, a weirdo? Kristen, you don’t know what the word “weirdo” means until you see all the people who are about to propose to you in the comments. Including us! What’s the emoticon for crying with happiness?

Twitter is the new press release. Tia Mowry confirmed via Twitter that she would not be returning to BET’s The Game for its sixth season. Her abrupt Twitpress (Twitter + press release) followed the buzzing rumors that the bubbly twin who plays Melanie Davis, the non-practicing doctor, on BET’s highest rated show, was actually fired. HipHollywood.com first reported the news, which they attributed to a “well placed source.” Hoping to quiet the chatter, Med School (we can’t help but call her that after all these years) tweeted, “Just wanted to let all my fans know that I will not be returning to The Game for season 6. It was an incredible run and I had lots of fun along the way. I am looking forward to my upcoming projects…the release of my book #OhBaby [today!], season 2 of @TiaTameraShow on @mystyle premiering in June, and my @ABCFamily movie coming out in December…more to come! love u so much.”

As if one star’s exit weren’t devastating enough for fans, who have a rep for passion since they petitioned to get it back on the air after it was dropped by the CW, Pooch Hall may not be returning either. His last tweet on May 5 said he has love for the network and they are working everything out. In his responses to fans, it sounds like he wants to continue to work with the series, but his new show, Ray Donovan, may be causing a scheduling conflict. One thing’s for sure, Derwin and Melanie Davis were the crux of The Game. We loved them, then hated them, then loved them again. As cliched as it is to write, the show just won’t be the same.

The 65th annual Cannes Film festival kicked off in high style today, as celebs from all around the world descended to the coastal town with their finest clothes and accessories. Eva Longoria and Diane Kruger both made big entrances in huge Cinderella gowns with trains that could stretch all the way to Paris! Jessica Chastain’s dress was a little more streamlined, but definitely drew attention with a plunging neckline. The dudes cleaned up pretty nicely as well, with action stars Bruce Willis and Chris Pine rockin’ the tuxes, but Sacha Baron Cohen (predictably) stole the show when he rode down the red carpet in full Dictator regalia while on the back of a camel. In his profile of Justin Bieber for the June issue of GQ, writer Drew Magary spends the better part of four pages describing his frustrated attempts to do something other than a typical sitdown with the “Boyfriend” singer. (And by the way, none of it is very surprising for anyone who’s ever tried to interview the Biebs; his people are insanely protective.) But as you laugh or tear your hair out while reading the story, you will also find yourself swinging back and forth on the main premise: Is JB a “swaggy adult” as he hilariously proclaims, or is he a teenage boy? Here are some clues to help you decide:

Bieber Is a Boy:

• His “people” won’t let him do any of the manly rites of passage things proposed, such as “drinking, smoking, drinking, going to a titty bar, gambling, drinking, shooting things, drinking.”
• There are penises drawn all over the grease board in his studio. (We don’t know who drew them for sure.)
• He (or his people) suggests boxing with the writer as an appropriate interviewing activity.
• “Like every other teenager in the universe, Bieber evades questions by staring directly at the floor.”
• He records temporary vocals on a track with a mouth full of Swedish Fish.

Bieber Is a Man:

• He cancels one of the interviews to have dinner with his mom. That is not something a teenager would do.
• He has someone rip off his sleeves to psych himself up for recording. That’s the kind of thing we can imagine most men would love to do, if they had a stylist and an endless supply of T-shirts.
• He thinks better of the boxing idea because, “I didn’t want to get my ass kicked.”
• He doesn’t binge drink. “For me, it’s just like, I like to be in control of myself. I mean, I’ve had a beer, like, before…. But I never get out of control.”
• He defends a lady’s honor. Well, Kim Kardashian’s honor: “You guys are so mean, bro. … People say she doesn’t do anything; she actually does do stuff. … She works hard.”

What do you think? In our experience, it’s kind of hard to tell a 37-year-old man from a teenage boy, so maybe we will never know!

Can’t a man just get one million massages in peace? Looks like the answer is no, seeing as how a fourth accuser has allegedly come forward with claims that John Travolta sexually harassed him. According to the personal trainer making the claims, Travolta inappropriately touched him at a gym. “The gym was opened as a courtesy to John Travolta so that he could avoid the public yet maintain his fitness in this physically challenging role that he was doing at the time. The gym employee says that John Travolta groped and fondled him against his will.” Oh lord, please don’t be referring to Face/Off. We don’t want anything sullying our memory of that amazing film.

Meanwhile, just because Travolta’s first accuser asked that his suit be dismissed does not mean he wants to forgo his day in court entirely. Instead, he has gone so far as to hire celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred to take his case. “I represent John Doe Number One,” Allred confirmed to People. “Mr. Doe’s lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice which means that he is still legally entitled to file another lawsuit against John Travolta if he chooses. The second we saw Mark Salling and Cory Monteith dressed as Blaine and Kurt on last night’s Glee, some of us crossed our fingers that the whole two (!) hours would feature this silly stunt.

“It would have been a little bit of overkill [to swap characters for the whole episode],” Jenna Ushkowitz, whose character Tina set off the whole “Freaky Friday” sequence, told VH1 Celebrity this morning, when she stopped by for Big Morning Buzz Live. We were thrilled to see Tina get to show off her chops in full Rachel diva-mode, even if it was all just a dream, and hope that the actress gets more to do as a senior at McKinley next season.

More than anything, all that role-switching seemed like a blast for the actors. So, who did Ushkowitz think had the most fun in someone else’s shoes? “I think that was Mark Salling,” she said of the actor who normally plays Puck. “I think he actually, secretly really loved to be Blaine, with the bow ties. But I think everyone had a really good time. I think Dianna [Agron's] Sugar was really, really funny. Cory Monteith, too, playing Kurt.”

And who surprised everyone in his/her new role? “Harry [Shum Jr.] as Joe, with the dreads,” she said of her onscreen boyfriend. “We were not expecting it to turn out as great as it did. It was awesome. His looks were just spot on.”

Most people were of the opinion that Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie were an odd match during their three-year marriage. Unfortunately, Billy Bob was one of those people, and it pretty much ruined everything. “She has one way she wanted to live her life and I had another way to live mine,” Thornton tells ABC’s Nightline in an episode set to air tonight. “I was just too insecure.” Of course, the non-stop gossip about the couple’s 20-year age difference and, uh, relative attractiveness didn’t help matters either. According to The Informers actor, he felt “like the Phantom of the Opera hiding in the catacombs” compared to Jolie. “People actually said that I didn’t deserve to be with her,” Billy Bob shares. Oh boy…were we one of those people? Jeez, we’re sorry. All those Phantom of the Opera jokes were just too good to pass up!

This kind of explains why Thornton and Jolie are shockingly amicable for ex-spouses. Angie penned the introduction to Billy Bob’s recent memoir, in which she praises him, saying “He has an unmatchable wit and can make you laugh until your face hurts.” Similarly Billy Bob lauded Jolie when she was directing her first film In the Land of Blood and Honey. “She’s real smart, and very creative, and I think it’s a great job for her,” he said. Admits Thornton in his interview, “We had a great marriage and I chickened out because I didn’t feel good enough. That’s all that happened. It was no big deal, we never hated each other.” We can’t help but feel partially responsible for this…which means we are kind of partially responsible for Angie ending up with Brad Pitt. You’re welcome, everyone! Except Billy Bob! Again, so sorry about that!

You see that smile on Jennifer Lopez’s face up there? That’s the smile of a very, very successful lady. And one whose rise to #1 of Forbes‘ 2012 Celebrity 100 list we could not have imagined two years ago. But joining the judges’ panel on American Idol kicked off a renaissance that earned her $52 million last year, according to the magazine. That includes income from Idol, music sales, endorsement deals with Gilette and L’Oreal, a clothing line at Kohl’s, her new TV show Q’Viva with ex-husband Marc Anthony and this weekend’s new comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting. All that made her shoot from #50 on last year’s list to the top of the heap. The list measures income from entertainment as well as “media visibility,” which explains how J.Lo beat out Oprah Winfrey, who is at #2 though she earned $165 million last year. Justin Bieber, who earned $55 million, is close behind at #3 (and earned the cover story of the magazine), and Rihanna is #4 with $53 million. Last year’s #1, Lady Gaga, slid down to #5 because she didn’t tour much in the last year, the mag’s editors explained.

So, yeah, in case you were still wondering why every pop star in the world is now also a reality show judge, you have your answer. Also, it is unfair that a woman that powerful and rich can simultaneously look this hot in a Vogue spread.

We all raised our eyebrows when we learned that Elisabetta Canalis went from dating Hollywood king George Clooney to…Steve-O. We won’t flat-out say “downgrade,” but one of those guys just hosted the president and the other got famous by shooting bottle-rockets out of his a–. Just sayin’. And now it looks like Elisabetta is continuing her questionable dating record with Admiral General Aladeen. The Italian supermodel was seen getting cozy with the brutal dictator on-board his fabulous luxury yacht off the coast of Cannes today. Paparazzo snapped photos of the pair slathering each other in tanning oil and sipping champagne, but then something must have gone horribly wrong as the pair began to fight on the deck. Aladeen’s gun-wielding henchmen escorted her away, and moments later they threw a suspiciously body-sized bag over the side of the boat!

Before you call the police, we have it on good authority that the whole incident is just another one of Sacha Baron Cohen’s publicity stunt to launch his latest movie The Dictator, which opens wide today. Sexy, subversive and wildly offensive? Yeah, that sounds like something the Borat star would be mixed up in. So it’s all a joke! Right guys? Right..? There are really no words to describe my trip to the U.K. last week to interview the cast of Snow White and the Huntsman. “Awesome” just doesn’t do it justice. It was thrilling, a bit nerve-wracking and so, so, so much fun. Thanks to everyone who chatted with me over Twitter, to Universal for a great weekend and to the stars and director of the film, who were amazing to talk to. (And to my fellow press-mates, who didn’t once make fun of me for all the nerdy things I said over our 72 hours together.)

So let’s get to it, then. Here’s the first clip from my chat with Kristen Stewart. She was my first interview of the morning, and I was, quite frankly, crapping my pants with nerves. Seriously, even my eyelids were sweating. For some reason, the combo of the gorgeous castle, the jet-lag, my personal KStew adoration and her super-cool jacket just got my stomach churning. The actress was absolutely lovely — both in demeanor and looks — and seems so excited about this film. (And with good reason; it is awesome.)

It was great to check in with her again about her newfound love for the trumpet. Turns out she’s teaching herself how to play, which seems impossible, but if anyone can do it, it’s Kristen. As if that weren’t adorable enough, the ambitious star is also teaching herself French with the help of Rosetta Stone CDs, because, as she told me, she knows “a lot of Frenchies.” And yes, I’m still kicking myself for not asking her to demonstrate her new language skills. I blame my nerves, and I’ll make up for it at Comic-Con if she’s there, I promise. Or should I say, “Je promet.”

Hate to admit, but we’re kind of with TMZ on this one: It is just a wee bit disappointing to learn that Josh Hutcherson didn’t break his nose in a dramatic Hunger Games arena re-enactment, in a street fight to protect a damsel in distress, or in some kind of rough sport accident.

“It’s a deviated septum. I was born like that. I was 90 percent blocked in my right nostril and stuff,” he told the gossip site’s cameraman while walking in Beverly Hills yesterday. “I just gotta get it healed up and everything.”

This kind of contradicts what he tweeted last week about recovering from a broken nose, doesn’t it? Or, maybe he just meant that they had to break his nose to fix it? Well, we hope that while the surgeon was helping Josh breathe, he didn’t do anything to “perfect” his schnoz. That tiny bump gives him character!

But if breathing better improves his kissing skills for Catching Fire, we’re definitely glad he went under the knife.

Rachel Uchitel now has a new avatar — mom! She gave birth to a baby girl yesterday, as her spokesperson confirms, just after five in the evening. At 5:04 p.m., if you’d like to be precise! Baby girl already isn’t a morning person. Rachel and husband Matt Hahn had been posting photos of her growing baby bump, with pregnancy updates intermittently over Twitter over the past couple of months, right up until her due date. The photograph you see above was one of their tweeted missives. Their baby weighed in at just over 7 pounds and has a pretty badass name! Ready for it? Rachel and Matt’s daughter’s name is … Wyatt Lilly! You have to admit it’s a pretty cool one. Rachel may not be everyone’s favorite person — being Tiger Woods‘ mistress doesn’t earn you a lot of fans, for some reason, but we’d still like to give congratulations to the new family.

Nick Stahl‘s wife, Rose, has filed a missing persons report with the LAPD, saying that he’s been missing since May 9. Stahl, as you know, played John Connor in Terminator 3 and was also on Carnivale, a show we loved. We checked his Twitter account and his last tweet was on May 1. Rose has stated she saw him last a week ago, and sources revealed the worrying news to TMZ that he’d been hanging out in Skid Row, L.A. and may have gotten himself into trouble. This may be connected to the fact that Rose also filed papers in February this year stating that she was no longer living with her husband and wanted the court to restrict him to monitored visitations with their 2-year-old daughter because Stahl was reportedly doing drugs. His spokesperson had refused to comment on the situation. We just hope he’s OK and surfaces again!

We thought this would be jerky by now, but apparently, we were wrong. There is no way in hell that you’ve forgetten about Lady Gaga‘s meat dress, worn at the VMAs in 2010. That was two years ago, and we thought Mother Monster was beyond revisiting her looks. We were wrong again, because Gaga just tweeted this picture, of her, in another meat dress, saying, “Photo from THE BORN THIS WAY BALL Tokyo. ‘Americano’ by Terry Richardson.” Meat dress part deux, as it were? Color us surprised. And what about Terry Richardson, huh? He’s with Gaga in Tokyo clicking skeezy pictures with electrical tape. This guy! That dress! Tokyo gone wild! We have to say that we like this latest version, though. There’s more shape and the we dig the bell-like meat skirt. Plus the setting of the picture is … joke included … pretty raw.

What more can one say about this? It’s Michael Fassbender, staring at you with those icy blue eyes, on the cover of the June edition of GQ. It’s enough to make you go completely slack-jawed. When we recovered enough to start writing this piece, our research took us to the his photo shoot inside the magazine. Bad move. Because it took us another 15 minutes to recover. It’s pretty hot, guys. There’s a reason why the cover line says, “Amp Up Your Sex Appeal — Learn From This Guy — Michael Fassbender.” The interview itself is a bit old, even though the cover shot is very new. It’s a fab piece, still, in which Michael talks about his love for metal and how he looked the part back in the day — “I had long hair, down to here … [he says, holding his hand level with his chest] …ten-hole Doc Martens, and combat shorts cut at the knee.” But if that’s distracting you from looking at the photographs, don’t bother. We totally understand!

Legs ahoy! These two celebrities have an enviable set of pins and it seems almost unfair to pit them against each other. Almost. Because we’re doing this anyway! The photograph on the left is of Carrie Underwood arriving at Toronto’s Pearson airport last night, wearing a pair of teeny-tiny shorts. Loving the cazh outfit dressed up by those metallic fringed flats. But more importantly, Carrie’s legs must make her trainer want to sing “Hallelujah!” Her rival, in this post, is Emma Roberts on the right. The actress was seen running around Beverly Hills in short-shorts and a fedora yesterday. She’a paler than Carrie, but we have to admit … she’s fit! Just when we’re forget just how little Rihanna cares what other people think of her, she wanders around New York in metallic lipstick, a bathrobe and a tiara. Oh, and she did her makeup herself, of course. Like. A. Boss. “2-3 hrs Did it myself uh huh #hoshit,” RiRi tweeted today in response to a question from a gushing fan. We hear that, and it’s like Rihanna’s rocking those rolled-down overalls and zero makeup all over again. Or sweatpants. Those beautiful, beautiful sweatpants.

Of course, when Rihanna performed later last night for the Robin Hood Foundation, she turned it out in full Cleopatra gear and allegedly helped raise an insane $57 million to fight poverty. As hot as she always is onstage, secretly we like this dressed-down RiRi better. We’re just waiting for her to slip into some mom jeans and big white sneaks: the last bastion of the completely eff-less pop star.

Wow, John Mayer was remarkably contrite during his Ellen interview this week. The John Mayer who reflects wisely on his past seems like a totally different human being then the one who was embarrassing himself non-stop a few years ago. Ugh, does that mean we have to reevaluate our opinion of him? “It was a very strange time and it sort of rocketed me into adulthood. It was a violent crash into being an adult,” Mayer said of his numerous mistakes. “For a couple of years, it was just figuring it all out, and I’m glad I actually stayed out of the spotlight. … It was like, ‘No, idiot. Go away and be 33 and 34 instead of 28 for the fourth year.’ ” We applaud John’s journey down the road to self-discovery, but we have to wonder: Can we really get past all those amazingly dumb things he said in public? And do we haaaaaaave to? In case you’ve forgotten about John’s blunders, perhaps you’d care to remember…

• His thoughts on ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson: “Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me. It was like napalm, sexual napalm. Did you ever say, ‘I want to quit my life and just f—in’ snort you? If you charged me $10,000 to f— you, I would start selling all my s— just to keep f—ing you.’ ”
• His relationship with Taylor Swift: Allegedly inspired Taylor’s song “Dear John,” which contained the lyrics: “Don’t you think 19’s too young/ To be played/ By your dark, twisted games/ When I loved you so.” Somehow he also managed to enrage her mother!
• “Your Body Is a Wonderland”: That entire song is just so sappy! Plus it’s burned forever on our brains! “bubblegum tongue”? “Crawling toward the pillow case”? Yeesh.
• His comments to Playboy about his wiener: “My d— is sort of like a white supremacist. I’ve got a Benetton heart and a f—in’ David Duke c—. I’m going to start dating separately from my dick.”
• His profoundly creepy pick-up lines: According to country singer Jessie James, “He texted me throughout the entire night while I was at the hotel room, leaving messages like, ‘Let me tuck you in. I want to see you.’”
• That. Hat.

It’s going to take awhile for us to get back onboard, John. We’re not ready to consider the fact you might not be a tool. Maybe you can start with the hat … and we can all go from there.

Looks like John Travolta will be returning to a life of seemingly non-stop massages soon enough! According to E! News, the first masseur to accuse the Savages actor of sexual harassment last week has officially moved to dismiss the case. No word on what caused the still-unnamed claimant to submit the notice of dismissal, but it might have something to do with the apparently dependencies in his story. Soon after the masseur claimed Travolta manhandled his manhood on January 16, photos of the actor in New York taken that exact same day cropped up, forcing the claimant to admit that he might have been confused about the date and time. We completely understand how that could happen though! It’s hard to remember all the A-list stars we rub down with fragrant oils too, let alone recall the dates and times they made an appointment. What are we supposed to do? Put it in an appointment book?

However, John shouldn’t slip back into that pillowy soft towel just yet. While lawyer Okorie Okorocha dismissed the first masseur as this client, he still represents the other masseur alleging sexual harassment at Travolta’s hand, a man who is currently seeking $2 million as recompense for Travolta’s alleged inappropriate touching. And that’s not even counting the cruise ship accuser! Since it’s only Tuesday, maybe you should go ahead and avoid all spa-related activities for the rest of the week, John. Or, you know, hire a female masseur. Might be worth a try!

Today we read Playboy for the articles. Or, one really, really long article. The mag’s interview with Tom Cruise stretches for five pages online and covers everything from his childhood motorcycle stunts to whether he’s had or would ever get plastic surgery (nope) to the time he sang “Pour Some Sugar on Me” for Def Leppard (amazing). If you are a Tom Cruise fan, you should read the whole thing. If not, we’ll just share the most interesting part for people who still can’t shake that image of the couch-jumping, Scientology-touting Cruise of 2005.

Asked if he feels like he was judged too harshly after the infamous Oprah outburst, he gives a relaxed (rambling) answer that concludes: “How harshly I’m judged or not judged, I don’t think about stuff like that. I feel lucky. I remember as a kid I wanted an adventurous life, and I’ve gotten it. So if someone judges me harshly, it’s okay. I don’t even judge them harshly for doing it.”

BUT that doesn’t mean he sits back and takes whatever the media will dish to him. “I remember back as a little kid, going into a new school. Always, you know there will be a guy coming up at you, and you just wait for it. The first day someone’s going to slam me against a locker, and then it’s on. I don’t want the fight, but it’s there, it’s happening.”

Cruise then extends that school analogy a little further: “There’s one thing you know with a bully. I don’t care how big or mean they are. If you allow it, if you don’t stand up to that … And there are different ways to do it. There’s the schoolyard, but sometimes just confronting them works. I learned hard lessons as a kid, and you think that once you grow up and aren’t at school, it will be different. It isn’t; it’s just bigger. I was being evaluated by the world. You have language barriers. There are lots of ways to incite incidents through miscommunication. The Internet has made it more immediate for false stuff. I’ve learned to just let it go or communicate where you can.”

So, the Rock of Ages star said he picks his battles, when it comes to fighting back against rumors (like he did in the late ’90s and early 2000s when he sued tabloids and a porn actor for publishing stories he was gay). “They know I mean it, that if I have to, I will sue,” he explains. “You start with a letter saying, ‘Okay, you know it’s not true. Apologize.’ There is a point with a lot of things when you just go, You know what? I don’t want to waste my time with this. I’m busy. I’d rather spend this time with my kids and my wife, at home or on our movies, creating a life together.”

We are always telling people to belt it. We’ve just never been referring to Halloween streamers they bought at the party supply store!

Other stars like Will Smith, Josh Brolin and Nicole Scherzinger also attended yesterday’s premiere, not that you’d know it. Seriously, how is it that Micaela here can wear what amounts to an electrical tape gown in public and not be immediately escorted off the premises as the rest of us would? We need answers! Someone get us Tommy Lee Jones, a black suit and one of those dealies that erases your mind! On second though….just the mind-erase dealie. We’re way too lazy to travel through time for this…

Although Kristen Stewart can glam it up like no other on the red carpet, it’s no secret that she’s much more at home in a pair of jeans and sneakers. Then again, aren’t we all? The only difference is that Kristen can make a vintage t-shirt look just as Vogue-y as a zillion dollar Monique Lhuillier dress! Whatever the occasion, the actress has made a habit of changing out of her high style gowns (or suits) into something a little more chill as the evening goes on. Last night was no different as Kstew ditched the sheer Marchesa she wore to the Snow White And The Huntsman premiere in London for a more rock ‘n’ roll jeans and leather jacket. She reportedly partied until 5 AM at Quo Vadis Private Members Club along side fellow SWATH star Charlize Theron and “boyfriend” (!) Robert Pattinson. Rock on, Kristen! We had two thoughts when we first saw Gisele Bundchen’s fantastic cover for the June/July issue of Vogue Paris: 1) Damn, we really need to get in shape for summer, and 2) whatever happened to the Coppertone Girl? Of course that was once our minds regained the power of words after processing Mrs. Tom Brady’s fantastic-yet-sandy backside. Imagine the effort that went into that sand placement. There’s no way Vogue would leave that to chance. They probably added each grain piece of piece until they had it exactly to their specifications. It’s like the sexiest mosaic that the world has ever known. The fact that we didn’t even realize she was topless really speaks to the mystical power of Gisele’s booty. We love how she stares down the camera with a look that definitely says, “Yes, I’m covered in sand, but my bottom mustn’t be disturbed.” Who knows what other pix can be found under the cover? We’ll have to wait a few more weeks until the mag hits the streets to find out!

When Josh Hutcherson was snapped leaving a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon’s office yesterday afternoon, with a bandaged, swollen nose, we knew that he wasn’t getting that adorable mug tweaked for vanity reasons. He’d tweeted about breaking his nose last Wednesday. But because he hasn’t yet revealed how he broke it, fans and bloggers, like our pals at Crushable, have been forced to come up with some wild theories. This morning, we came up with our own, based on news via The Hunger Games Examiner that audition info has been posted for Catching Fire.

Our wild theory? There are some over-eager Finnick and Johanna wannabes out there, ambushing Hunger Games fans in hopes of gaining the attention of director Frances Lawrence for the sequel. No? We are crazy and trying to link everything in Hutcherson’s life to Peeta? You got us there.

Aaaanyway. On the Acting-Auditions.org, a notice lists the tributes that will be cast in L.A., noting that extras and stand-ins will be hired in North Carolina, where shooting will begin this summer (so the site says, but Lionsgate’s most recent press release said fall).

Here are the descriptions:
• Johanna Mason, female, sarcastic and often cruel victor from District 7.
• Beetee and Wiress, an older couple, dark hair, pale skin from District 3, very smart.
• Finnick Odair, male, mid-20s, very handsome, tall, tan skin, bronze hair, green eyes.

• Romulus Thread, male, mid 30s – 40s, new Head Peacekeeper of District 12.

“I don’t know where I end and he starts,” Maya Rudolph brags of her lookalike boyfriend (OK, her) in the 2005 Saturday Night Live ad for “Me Harmony.” And we can’t help but wonder if that eerie feeling we get from seeing comedians standing next to themselves in drag is part of what inspired Elle’s art department to pose Kristen Stewart with masculine, slicked back hair and wearing a suit, looking on admiringly and possessively at a much more feminine version of herself, all sexed up in a bustier and leather skirt. Or are the magazine’s people big fans of Lady Gaga’s Jo Calderone act — particularly when the two romance each other on a piano in her “You and I” video? Was Gaga channeling Rudolph, Horatio Sanz and Rob Riggle? Cross-dressing ladies are no new thing (see: ancient history, Shakespeare), nor are stars who poke fun at the narcissism of stardom. But we think Gaga and KStew do a damn sexy job at portraying something so fundamentally creepy as romancing doppelganger, don’t you?

In case you missed everyone pointing this out yesterday, the Elle cover story also marks the second time Kristen has let the word “boyfriend” slip during a magazine interview (the first was when she told GQ that her boyfriend is English). After spotting a copy of Guy de Maupassant‘s Bel Ami at a bookstore, she tells the reporter, “Oh my God, my f—ing boyfriend just did this movie!”

Around the same time that the NBC stars were celebrating their new fall lineup, Fox’s Upfront presentation for advertisers was also happening in NYC. Both channels brought in their bigtime stars, but we feel Fox may just have inched ahead. This was also, in part, because of the news we published yesterday that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato were officially named as the newest judges on The X Factor.

But they were, by no means, not the only stars who came to the presentation. Fellow The X Factor judges Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid were also there. A ton of the Glee cast showed up as well. Lea Michele led the way in a lovely, delicate Pucci dress with Casadei shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Naya Rivera wore the one mullet dress we’ve ever liked, a Lublu number that she paired with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes. Jenna Ushkowitz wore a summery Rebecca Minkoff design, completing the trio of ladies from the show. Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer and Darren Criss represented the show’s dudes. New Girl star Zooey Deschanel was also there in a Carven dress and Miu Miu heels, as was her co-star Hannah Simone. And surprise surprise, a casually dressed Mila Kunis came for the event as well. TV’s Muscle Show Up For NBC’s Upfront: Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate, Amy Poehler And More

Some major television star power showed up at the NBC Upfront preview party in New York on Monday, representing a fair amount of our favorite shows and new ones we can’t wait to see. One of those would be Parks and Recreation and the shows lead, Amy Poehler looked like a stone cold fox in a Nicole Miller dress, House of Lavande jewelry and an All Saints leather jacket. Other funny ladies, Up All Night co-stars Maya Rudolph and Christina Applegate also represented. Eva Longoria was glam in a deep red Alberta Ferretti dress with Brian Atwood pumps. She probably made sure not to stand right next to Jenny McCarthy, whose sexy fuchsia shift would have clashed horribly next to it!

Other glam ladies included Law & Order: SVU‘s Mariska Hargitay wearing a white Victoria Beckham dress. She happily posed with co-stars Ice-T and Kelli Giddish. Katharine McPhee wore a floral Dolce & Gabbana dress, repp’ing Smash. Jamie-Lynn Sigler looked fine in a red Nonoo jumpsuit and posed with her Guys With Kids producer Jimmy Fallon. That was just the tip of the iceberg at this Upfront, so head on to the gallery for the whole deal.
