“I’m single and mingling. Steve lives in London, the distance is a bit too much. I’m not dating anyone specifically and I’m not looking for a house with anyone. Cannes was a great experience. I was on vacation and some friends were going so I decided to come along. It was fun,” she said.

Vera Wang may have to take a break from designing her legendary wedding dresses to put her dancing shoes on.

The fashion designer has reportedly signed on to compete on the next season of Dancing With The Stars.

Vera has an athletic past: she trained as a professional figure skater as a young girl and later ended up designing costumes for skaters Nancy Kerrigan and Michelle Kwan.

Lost star Evangeline Lilly says if she could be any A-lister, it would be Brad Pitt’s babymama Angelina Jolie. But after saying she would like to emulate the humanitarian mother of six, Evangeline ends up giving her a backhanded compliment.

“No one knows that woman, she’s a complete ice queen, which is perfect,” Evangeline says. “Why should she be any more? She doesn’t owe us anything.”

Evangeline says Angelina’s life is grand, but just the charity part of it. “Sure, I’d love to be her, but just the humanitarian side,” she said.

Although they were swapping spit throughout the Cannes Film Festival, Paris Hilton vehemently denies one alleged PDA incident with boyfriend Doug Reinhardt.

British papers claimed the heiress was asked to leave David Furnish’s yacht party after being caught in a “compromising position” in the bathroom of the boat.

“I would never do that,” Paris says. “It’s so lame that people will just create these crazy stories. I can’t believe the stories people will make up, so gross! I’m so sick of all these false rumors. While Shoot ‘Em Up star Monica Bellucci was in the south of France for the closing ceremony of Cannes, thieves were stealing tens of thousands of dollars in jewelry from her Paris apartment—as well as Bellucci’s passport.

“It was clearly a meticulously planned burglary…there have been plenty of cases of the homes of professional footballers being targeted while they are playing in high-profile matches,” said an investigating officer. “But this appears to be the first time that the same kind of thing has happened to actors.’”

Bellucci and husband Vincent Cassel (Ocean’s Twelve) were at Cannes to promote her French thriller, Don’t Look Back and his Brazilian drama, Adrift. The couple has yet to comment on the robbery.
